Marquee weddings are my absolute favourites and this Oxford marquee wedding shows exactly why. It is absolutely beautifully styled and so personally, many of the flowers were grown in the parents garden where the wedding was held, the beautiful ceramic coasters were made by the brides mother, the photos and table plan were photos from this globe trotting couple, the bar was homemade as was the sloe gin, the list is endless and you can see the beautiful results here. This is what is so perfect about marquee weddings - they are a perfect blank canvas to decorate as you wish, they are light and spacious and allow you lots of space for your own creativity. But what I love most about marquee weddings - and this wedding is the perfect example of - the relaxed atmosphere they immediately create and the focus on family and friends. This was held in the back garden of the grooms family home, it was filled to the brim with friends and family, everyone knew each other, from the very beginning it felt relaxed, laid back and absolutely full of love and happiness. I could not have loved this Cotswolds wedding more and it was lovely to return to Oxford again where I've had the honour of photographing many beautiful weddings.
