A Beautiful Marquee wedding in The Cotswolds

Sophie and Duncan are 2 of the sweetest people I've ever met. They first got in touch back in 2019 and it was 3 years later that we finally had the wedding planned after multiple postponements due to covid and the added complication that they currently live in Australia!

The day of the wedding was a sweltering summers day. This Cotswolds wedding had sun from start to finish, a load back morning at home with the girls getting ready accompanied but S&D's beautiful baby girl, at the family home. A short walk to the family church where a beautiful ceremony took place and then another short walk up to the local cricket pitch where a beautiful marquee had been set up. Long tables filled the space with lots of wild flowers, hay bales to sit on, acoustic musicians - it was the most beautiful, quintessentially Cotswolds wedding scene you could imagine!

The stunning weather means much of this Cotswolds marquee wedding took place outside, as the balmy evening drew in guests milled about in the late afternoon sun sipping cocktails, catching up with long ago seen friends and family. The separations enforced by the pandemic have meant that weddings these year have been even more meaningful than ever before and the joy everyone has at finally being able to see one another again, hug, dance, drink and chat long into the night has been wonderful to witness.

It was such a joy to be The Cotswolds wedding photographer for this gorgeous pair. As always it takes an army to put on these events, shout out to the dream team of suppliers:

Hair - Tahlia Maxwell

Make up - Alice Taper Make up

And if you this then take here at another marquee wedding I was Cotswolds wedding photographer for
