An Intimate Autumn wedding at No131 Cheltenham Wedding Venue

Updated: Jan 17, 2022

2020 hit everyone in the wedding industry and those hoping to get married so hard. But one beautiful thing that has come out of it is seeing how for so many of my clients it has refocused them on what is truly important about your wedding day - getting to marry the love of your life and celebrate with those closest to you. With that in mind many of my couples chose to have a small, intimate wedding in 2020 and then have postponed their big party back to 2021. Getting to document these micro celebrations at a time when so many of us have been separated from our loved ones has been SUCH a privilege and has made my heart so full.

The wonderful A&A had booked me for their wedding party at No131 Cheltenham but then of course the dreaded covid pandemic hit. Far from panicking they decided to add in a date a year later for a big part and stick with their original wedding date to have a beautiful, intimate wedding with just 12 of their closest family. Just a few days before however the government announced Lockdown 2.0 and again this incredible couple quickly phoned round their core suppliers and with just 24 hours notice moved their wedding day forward by 5 days. What resulted was an absolutely stunning day with a lot of love, the most beautiful Grace loves Grace dress and Jimmy Choo shoes, incredible florals by Flowers by Passion all at one of my favourite venues No 131 Cheltenham. Take a little look through these images to give you some inspiration for how beautiful a small, intimate, micro wedding can be.
