A Cotswolds Marquee Wedding at The Perch Inn, Oxford

The Perch Inn, Oxford is one of my favourite wedding venues. For starters it is a pub which is always going to be a winner! It's also on the banks of the river in Oxford, is a beautiful wedding marquee which is styled exquisitely, the food is utterly delicious and the staff there are some of the loveliest I've met. So when Francesca got in touch with me to ask about photographing her wedding at The Perch I was over the moon. Francesca and Toby are 2 of the nicest people I've ever met - they throw an almighty party of a wedding - their friends and family were so welcoming and friendly and they all celebrated big time :-)

The Ceremony took place at Oxford Town Hall which is in itself a stunning building. After which guests walked through Oxford town to the banks of the river where they boarded 2 boars to sup prosecco and nibble on hula hoops :-) We disembarked, showered the happy couple in confetti in blazing sunshine, did some family photos before the heavens opened, ate an absolute feast of a meal - sharing bowls of potatoes and salad, whole grilled fish and slow roasted lamb - before playing garden games, drinking too much, and dancing the night away.

The whole day was utter bliss and I want to do it all over again with this gorgeous pair. Oh and the beautiful wedding dress - her grandma made it...50 odd years ago for her own wedding...and her mum wore it...and now Francesca has worn it. A wedding dress that has been worn for 3 generations - amazing! Feast your eyes on this beauty of a wedding everyone
