An elegant, boho marquee wedding in Ireland

Ireland has always been a love of mine. My aunt and uncle lived there and as a child I spent most summers on the Emerald Isle, so when Ellie and George got in touch to ask if I would fly over to Ireland to photograph their wedding I absolutely jumped at the chance. And what a wedding it was. After getting ready at Ellie's parents house and a wonderful church ceremony, me and the couple headed to the coast road to take some photos and make the most of the glorious sunny day. We then headed over to what is one of the most stunning wedding venues I have ever been to. Trudder Lodge is a glorious old country house and grounds with a marquee that you can decorate as you wish. The house is beautifully designed, all the furniture and decor is stunning and Ellie and George turned the blank canvas of a marquee into an utterly glorious sight. Trails of herbs fell from the ceiling, candelabras cast a romantic glow, natural wild flowers adorned vases it was simply stunning. After an incredible meal and some of the funniest speeches I have heard in a long time the party started and boy did these guys know how to party! The dance floor was packed from the moment the first tune played and it stayed that way until I quietly crept off at around midnight. Ellie and George, thankyou so much for asking me to capture your wedding day for you, it was truly spectacular
